A number of years ago, the Vice President of Marketing asked me to help him write a speech. Our company, a major energy corporation, had been sold, which resulted in some substantial internal changes. Consequently, our department was being disbanded, and the people dispersed to different departments and functions. The speech was to be made at the end of a special dinner in honour of us all. For example, I think youre brilliant at writing your own songs and playing the guitar but I hate it when you leave the guitar propped up against the armchair like that and with all the wires sticking out from your mike.

Its just so thoughtless and anyone of us could knock it over or trip over them. I remember when I was a teacher working with a colleague getting her classroom ready for Parents Open Day, as the Headmaster walked in. My colleague was really upset when he left as she had worked tirelessly on her classroom for hours yet she only remembered the comments after the word but. Actually they are praying that people may not only praise God but get to know Him more and have fellowship with Him more than ever before, praise and worship songs this is our aim from this praise gathering. So please even if you are not free to join the Praise Team or not living in Egypt, just pray for the gathering and that people may decide to have praise as their life style.

The Praise Team of Egypt truly thanked the Lord for all what He has done. Though they were so tired and exhausted. After the service they were meeting with individuals,praying with others for another 90 min. Since the space was limited, they performed twice in the same evening so that people could attend one of the services (not both), so people who attended the first service could not attend the second. First, we listed the major projects he would be mentioning, with the leader's name and a list of team members.

Then we looked at the complete staff list to see who had not already been mentioned. As he talked about each project, he worked in the names of all the team members. Then he reminded us that there was more to our department's work than individual projects, and that each of us had made an important contribution over the years --- and that's when he incorporated all the other individuals' names. But for this week just start to notice and pay attention to the way you show appreciation towards your kids - perhaps you give them praise in the way you like to receive it but they may like to receive it in a different way and by changing your approach you may find your child beaming at you in surprise and delight.
